Narvik Student Society (also known as NSS) is a non-profit association that aims to ensure a healthy and active student environment at UiT The Arctic University of Norway in Narvik. We are an umbrella organization for several clubs on campus and have history from 1955​

 

The association consists of the Executive Committee (Arbeidsutvalget, AU), which is responsible for daily operations as well as finance and administration. AU is elected by the annual general meeting. AU has an office in room B1060. AU is overseen by the Main Board, which consists of all club leaders in addition to the AU. The Main Board's responsibility is to ensure that the AU follows the instructions and guidelines set by the Main Board. The rest of the organization is made up of clubs, committees, and many volunteers..
