"For a healthy and active student environment"
The entire organization consists of volunteer students who are committed to creating a social, active, and healthy student environment. Without all the volunteers, we wouldn’t have the clubs we do, nor the student environment we have today.
Benefits
If you are interested in joining a club, starting a club, or just participating, there are many benefits to being a volunteer.
As a volunteer and member, you can make many new acquaintances with people who share your interests. These connections can last well beyond your student years and become part of your professional network.
Not only do you make connections and build networks that can help later in life, but you also gain valuable experience in areas like finance and budgeting, event planning, and more—experience that looks great on a resume. You can gain this experience through everything you participate in, from courses and seminars to office work and more
As an added bonus for those who are more ambitious and want to make an impact on campus, volunteering is a great way to do it. The most important thing to remember about volunteering with us is that we are a non-profit organization, which means it’s easier for us to do what we want, when we want.
How can you contribute?
We need people with enthusiasm. You will gain knowledge and experience by being a volunteer. If you're a bit curious and perhaps afraid to try something new or worried about making mistakes as a volunteer, don't let that stop you. Here at NSS, we provide a safe environment, and we want people to give it a try. If you find out it's not for you, that's totally okay since it’s voluntary after all!
We always need people who want to help with events, like decorating, cleaning up, setting things up, and keeping an eye on things during the event. Maybe you’d rather try working with PR and social media, we need people for that as well. As a non-profit organization, we also need people who can help secure sponsorships.
We also have other projects, like building a sofa group, extracting data from old servers to digitize photos, and analog media that has accumulated over the years
