Serpent to USA

Last week we delivered the satellite to Andøya for shipping to NASA. We are sending 3 people to USA to integrate the satellite into the rocket and do some more testing there. The lucky ones are Chris Jensen, Simon Tøllefsen and Askar Storbakk. One from each team. They will travel in the end of July and the launch is planed to be sometime in November. The mission is to test the seperation mechanism and to meassure the distance so that we can verify the simulation models we have used. We have gotten the sponsor NITO Nordlands logo engraved on the satellite taking their organisation into space. We have also engraved UiT and Campustinget i Narviks logo as they have supported us by helping us get funding.
